MNMS Supports:
We are actively looking to identify organizations to support. Our criteria for supporting an organization is based on the simple premise: "Are their goals aligned with ours?"
Although we approach the problem from different angles, we believe that all the organizations that we support are working to positively impact the future leaders of the world.
Here are some the organization/s that we are PROUD to currently support, in addition to the organizations supported directly by the MNMS School Clubs:

Teach For America (TFA) is an American non-profit organization with an intended aim to "eliminate educational inequity by enlisting high-achieving recent college graduates and professionals to teach" for two or more years in low-income communities throughout the United States.
Teach For America’s national corps of outstanding recent college graduates commit to teach for two years in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong leaders in expanding educational opportunity. In the fall of 2012, 10,000 corps members are teaching in 46 regions across the country, while nearly 28,000 Teach For America alumni continue working from inside and outside the field of education for the fundamental changes necessary to ensure educational excellence and equity.
The Los Angeles region is home to more than 300 corps members and more than 1,500 alumni who impact approximately 50,000 Los Angeles students every school day. For more information please visit www.teachforamerica.com.
We are are especially excited to work closely with the TFA team at the Los Angeles Office.

From the TFA website:
“All kids—no matter where they live, how much money their parents make, or what their skin color is – deserve access to a great education. But in our country today, a significant achievement gap exists between low-income children and their wealthier peers. It’s not easy to close this gap, but hundreds of proof points show that it’s possible. It takes committed leaders in our classrooms today who will continue to fight for students tomorrow. Teach For America’s mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by developing such leaders.”
From MNMS:
“The My Name My Story organization was created to fill a gap. A gap of inspiration in the future leaders of this world. So our goal is to help inspire the world. We believe that the future of the world depends not only on a few leaders that are inspired but nations of inspired leaders. We also believe that the current socio-political environment has created an environment of fear and despair in the hearts of our future leaders. That is why we go across the globe to find "MyStories,” stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. So, success, once a mystical elusive word, is no longer a secret and the next generation of leaders too can hope, believe, succeed and inspire.”
